“Jeff Nichols is already among the most respected directors and content creators in Hollywood,” said Christopher Crane, Arkansas’ Film Commissioner. “We appreciate Jeff taking time out of his busy schedule to come home to screen his latest film, ‘Midnight Special.’ I encourage anyone with an interest in film to attend this event as it will be a great opportunity to ask Jeff questions about the movie and his approach to directing.”

“Midnight Special” is already receiving rave reviews from several entertainment publications.

“‘Midnight Special’ confirms Jeff Nichols uncommon knack for breathing dramatic integrity and emotional depth into genre material,” said the Hollywood Reporter in its review of the movie.

“Auteur Jeff Nichols is impressively restrained and yet limitlessly imaginative,” said Variety.
