If, like me, you feel no compulsion to see Peter Jackson’s latest Elven Inevitable on its opening weekend, you might want to check out Lorraine Levy’s heartfelt and hopeful The Other Son, which opens at Market Steet this Friday. Or the Danish historical drama — which is apparently pretty accurate — A Royal Affair. I’m just saying, you’ve got options.
