And the Nominees Are…. 48 Hour Best of Screening Tonight

August 30, 2012

I am a bad monkey. I said I’d help young Levi with this and then I didn’t. Because I have been slammed this week. Slammed. But, as usual, I proved dispensible.

Sadly the 48 Hour Film Project 2012 in Little Rock is coming to a close, but thankfully we get to celebrate by screening the Top 11 Audience Award picks as well as giving away some awards tonight! The Ceremony is tonight at Argenta Community Theater at 7pm and tickets are $10, but get your tickets now as we only have about 38 seats left if you haven’t already. They can be purchased online at http://littlerock48hfp.eventbrite.com. Space will be limited so show up early for good seating. Time is running out! Tonight we will give away the Best of Little Rock award to the Best Film which will go on to compete at the “Best of City” event at Filmapalooza and Runner Up as well as awards for Best Cinematography, Acting, Story, Music, and more as you will see from the nominees listed below.

The Little Rock Film Festival who has hosted the event for the past three years is excited to announce that in addition to some really unique award trophies to be handed out at the ceremony tonight, Little Rock Film Festival pass vouchers will be given to the Best of Award winners. The Best of Film will receive a Gold Pass worth at least $250, a Silver Pass worth $100 for the Runner Up and Best Cinematography, Music, Story, Acting, Directing, and Editing, and a Bronze Pass worth $40 given out to winners of the Best Use of Prop, Character, and Line of Dialogue.
