Best documentaries 2010 — your nose cone monkey’s list

December 24, 2010

Somebody asked, and I made this list for my Sunday end-of-the-year movie piece. I’m not sure 2010 was the best year ever for documentaries, but I’m not sure it wasn’t either.

If you wanted to expand this list a little, you could include the quasi-docs Exit Through The Gift Shop, Catfish and possibly (I haven’t seen it yet but it’s next in the queue), Andrew Jarecki’s All Good Things, a based-on-fact feature that reportedly introduces original reporting.

Later I’ll add some more clips.
